 PUT SOMETHING UP

IMG_1626.jpeg

Put Something Up was a passion project of mine that lived its life pre-pandemic. A show that was meant to be in backyards, living rooms, and rooftops where artists could congregate and display their work. It was intentionally unpolished—predicated on the notion that the mere act of setting foot on a stage was worthy of applause. People performed poetry, songs, dance, comedy, and anything they had in the depths of their notebooks that they may not have had the confidence to bring anywhere else. It was an incredible community that I look forward to revitalizing when it comes time for us to once again share space.

In art I believe in risks, support, and creation unbridled by ego.

That’s what we found at Put Something Up.
